autumn magic

Do you ever stumble upon something and it changes your life? Sometimes that change can be major… and sometimes that change can just be a bigger appreciation for the world around you.

I was out and about showing off the more stunning parts of the city to one of my amazing lady-friends and a man was randomly making these HUUUGE bubbles under the St. John’s Bridge. I ran around like a little girl popping and chasing them! Thanks to Bekah for snapping these amazing photos to capture the moment (and my outfit!).

Some behind the outfit secrets: The jacket is a medium, I sized up so I could layer longer sleeves and thicker tops for when it gets chilly out, but it still works for a light jacket in the summer. Sizing up doesn’t work on all styles so make sure it still looks good! The booties were on suuuper sale so I couldn’t find my size, and had to size up a half size to 7 1/2. I just bought some small wedge inserts that not only make it more comfy to walk, but take away any movement. As for tops, I like wearing slightly longer ones when it’s cold and my jacket is going to be zipped up tight, that way I can still look cute without looking like I’m just wearing a jacket and pants… boring!

the details: Oxblood faux-leather jacket (American Rag, Macy’s last season, similar here and here); black pants (H&M, similar here and here); navy and white striped long-sleeve top (Pink and Rose, similar here); brown booties (Lower East Side, last season, similar here and here, actual ones here size 13 ); blue and white heart-polka-dot scarf (H&M, similar here and here); sunglasses (gifted, similar here); white and gold polka dot hair bow (Etsy, similar here).

Happy adventuring ❤

  1. Hi Nicole, I just wanted to say hi here in the comments as I tried to get in touch with you before for a collab but never heard anything back from you. If you’re open to collabs I’d love to hear from you. You’re more than welcome to write directly to me on laura@blogerize.com – even if you’re not interested. All the best xx
